DERAY®-Board-Workman RFID is a mobile shrink equipment designed to process heat shrink tubes onto splices and multicore cable sets for longitudinal water sealing on the harness board.

Operation
Before start of production, the RFID code of the harness needs to be communicated by a USB scanner to the shrink equipment. The identification by RFID happens as soon as the work tool is docked at the docking point. The process parameters of the selected shrink point appear on the display, the shrink process can be started. After the shrink process is completed, the shrink chamber opens and the heating unit returns to its home position. The cooling system helps to ensure that any emerging adhesive hardens rapidly and the completed cables are soon ready for further processing.
